Black Dragon Kickboxers Evelyn Coffey from Rahoon and Corey O’Malley from College Road won gold at the recent Unified World Championships in Tuscany.

Evelyn Coffey had her hand raised after a three-round battle with Italian fighter, Adriana Granilla in the final of the ladies' 60kg Lightweight Division.

Corey O'Malley sealed victory in the final of the 67kg Welterweight Full Contact Division by stopping Ukrainian fighter, Filatov Oleksandr in the second round. Oleksandr had his nose badly broken by some well-placed kicks and pin-point boxing from O’Malley, resulting in the ringside doctor stopping the fight.
