PorterShed is proud to announce that, following its recent recognition as the winner of the National Award for Improving the Business Environment and Supporting the Internationalisation of Business, it has now been shortlisted as one of the top three initiatives in Europe.
This prestigious nomination underscores PorterShed's ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive, business-friendly environment where small and medium enterprises (SME ) can start, grow, and innovate across the continent.
Out of 442 entries submitted from 29 participating countries, the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA ) jury has identified three standout initiatives, with PorterShed in Galway city named among them.
The EEPA recognise outstanding efforts to promote entrepreneurship and support small businesses at national, regional, and local levels. Open to initiatives from EU member states and associate countries participating in the SME pillar of the Single Market Programme, the awards have attracted over 4,000 projects since their inception in 2006, collectively aiding the creation of more than 11,000 new companies.
