Gardaí will hold an open day at Loughrea Garda Station on October 20 from midday until 3pm. There will be a sensory hour from 12 noon until 1pm.
All are welcome to attend and encouraged to learn about how the emergency services work.
The Garda mounted unit, water unit, armed support unit, roads policing unit and public order unit, as well as the fire brigade and ambulance service will all be featured.
The event will take place at Loughrea Garda Station, Barrack Street, Loughrea, H62 V275.
