The award-winning Byrne Brothers aim to raise the temperature when they perform a pulsating free show in Galway's West End at Monroe’s Tavern next Tuesday evening, October 22.

Based in the US since 2018, the family band originates from Donegal. It has gained several career awards over the years such as the Young Artist Academy Award for Outstanding Music Ensemble, and being named the Rising Stars of the Year by American Celtic Radio listeners.

The family of musicians' music mainly consists of traditional Irish tunes, with each member able to play multiple instruments such as the banjo, accordion, uilleann pipes and bodhrán.

The band consists of Luca on accordion, Finn on banjo, mandolin, and guitar, Dempsey on bodhrán and whistle, and their father Tommy on uilleann pipes, fiddle, guitar, and bagpipes.

Entry is free for all, and doors open at 7pm.
