Having toured internationally since 2005, Gibbons first gained widespread attention with his 2015 single ‘Your Love’, which was featured on the US hit drama Pretty Little Liars.
After moving to Britain, he signed a publishing deal with Good Soldier Songs, the London-based label known for working with artists like Biffy Clyro, Birdy, The 1975, and Gavin James. The track ‘Your Love’ also gained over a million plays on Spotify.
In 2016 he released his follow-up single, a high-energy electro-house version of Charles and Eddie's 1992 pop-R&B hit ‘Would I Lie to You.’ It became an even bigger global success, racking up over 25 million streams on Spotify.
The track featured on numerous popular TV shows and was included in various high-profile compilations, such as Ministry of Sound’s flagship, The Annual 2017.
He continued his success with the release of ‘P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing )’ - a track that utilises vocals from Michael Jackson's iconic song of the same name. His remixes of popular songs have reached platinum status in Ireland, and bolstered the careers of the original artists including Westlife and Picture This.
With influences ranging from Queen and Fleetwood Mac, to Calvin Harris and Skrillex, Gibbons brings a diverse range of sounds and styles to his work.
His latest release ‘Lie To Me’ highlights his continued growth, maintaining what he describes as his energetic, fun, and powerful style, which has made him a household name in electronic music.
It follows a series of successful tracks, including ‘Edge of Seventeen’ featuring Irish star Lyra, and his 2023 single ‘All I Need’ with Treetalk.
Gibbins signed with Sony Music Ireland last year, marking a significant milestone in his career.
