Galway Atlantaquaria invites the public to join an upcoming Fossil Walk in Salthill, Galway.
The Fossil Walk begins at Ladies Beach, Salthill, and ends at the Blackrock Diving Tower on Saturday, October 26, at 10am.
This is a fantastic opportunity to discover rare fossils that can be anything from ten thousand to one million years old.
Garry Kendellen, marketing at Galway Atlantaquaria, said: "When we shared the recent fossil finds in Salthill, we had lots of interest from geologists all over Ireland. They could not believe the quality and quantity of fossils we found. We are hoping that the next fossil walk will help identify the true range of fossils in Salthill."
The event will also include a Clean Coasts two minute beach clean, which is a great opportunity to learn about marine litter.
