The semi-finalists for the Windows and Rooflights Senior A Championship has been decided after an exciting weekend of Camogie.
Sarsfields will take on Athenry while Oranmore Maree will face Mullagh.

A late venue change at the 11th hour to Clan na nGael GAA grounds was required to ensure the first of the quarter-finals was played on Friday night. Both teams had to make the trip to Clan na nGael in a bid to make the semi-finals. Rachel Monaghan got Mullagh into a two-point lead through two frees in the first minute. Ailish O’Reilly, Oranmore Maree’s top scorer followed up with 0-5 points (0-4 through frees ) to give them a three-point lead by the midway point of the half. Monaghan, through a free, got Mullagh’s first score in 17 minutes to bring the deficit back to two. But Grace Tarpey and O’Reilly through a free followed up with two more to extend their lead further. It was Mullagh who had the final say of the half however through a Tegan Canning point and a Monaghan free to leave it Oranmore Maree 0-7 Mullagh 0-5 at the half-time break.
O’Reilly, through a free, and Rachael Hanniffy left four between the sides again, four minutes into the second half. Monaghan pointed two frees, either side of an O’Reilly free. O’Reilly kicked on again with four points in ten minutes, one through a free. Mullagh had the final say of the game with points from Canning and Aoife Connaughton but it was not enough as Oranmore Maree ran out five point victors on the day.
Athenry 0-16 Ardrahan 1-10 AET
Extra-time was required to separate Athenry and Ardrahan in a wet and blustery Clarinbridge on Saturday afternoon. It was Athenry who started the brightest with the aid of a stiff breeze. 0-4 Sabina Rabbitte points, one through a free, and one from wing back Dervla Higgins saw Athenry go into a 0-5 to 0-0 lead after 13 minutes. Rebecca Gardiner got Ardrahan off the mark by the 15th minute with a point from play but Jessica Gill and Higgins followed up with two more points to extend Athenry’s lead even further. Kate Deverux got her first free of the day on the 27th minute but it was Athenry who had the final say of the half with a point from Noreen Coen as they went in 0-8 to 0-2 in front at the break.
Ardrahan came out of the blocks strong in the second half as they used the elements to their advantage and shot 0-5 points without reply. 0-3 from Deverux, one through a free, and one each from Gardiner and Alisha Quinn left one between the sides with 10 minutes left on the clock. Substitute Katie O’Dwyer and Rabbitte followed up with two more points for Athenry. Ardrahan got in for a goal just before added time. A long ball in was batted out by Freeney in the Athenry goal and into the path of Quinn who batted it back into the net. Gill did put Athenry into the lead, one minute from time but Deverux followed up with a late free to send the game to extra time.
Scores were hard to come by in extra-time as both teams battled hard in the blustery elements. Deverux pointed another free three minutes into the second half. But Coen and Rabbitte followed up with two points to give Athenry a slim advantage heading into the second period of extra-time. Gardiner brought the sides level again in the first minute of the second half. Athenry however, who had the assistance of the breeze in the second period of extra time, finished the strongest with a Rabbitte free and points from O’Dwyer and Coen as Athenry ran out three point victors on the day.
