The hottest workout in town

National award winning yoga studio, Hot Yoga Galway, was opened in 2005 by Galway native Tracy Dunbar and to date it remains the only affiliated, qualified and certified Bikram Hot Yoga studio in the west of Ireland. Open seven days a week, this purpose-built studio is located on the Tuam Road (opposite the Travelodge Hotel ) and offers morning and evening classes.

In 2016, Tracy Dunbar expanded her business and opened Urban Wellbeing, Galway's 8,000sq ft, five-star health, beauty and fitness centre. Her new Hot Yoga studio, located within this wellness centre, is simply state of the art. Tracy feels very strongly that having a top-notch facility is essential to creating an ideal experience for clients.

There are life-changing moments in everyone's life and this could be one for you. Tracy has seen over and over again the profound changes that Hot Yoga classes have made in people’s lives. Bikram yoga and Fierce Grace yoga will all change your body and your life.

The room is intentionally hot – 105F — which allows you to go deeper and safer into the postures, minimising the risk of injury. Regular profuse sweating generated by the heat will flush toxins out of the body, promote relaxation and wellbeing, accelerate cardiovascular action and facilitate calorie burning. You will burn up to a whopping 1,000 calories in a single session and you will see a change in your body shape in a very short period of time.

Regular practice of Bikram yoga strengthens the immune system, improves posture and spinal alignment, strengthens joints, eases back pain, tones muscles and relieves stress and tension. It also builds strength, stamina and flexibility which is why many of Galway’s top sports men and women attend her classes on a regular basis.

Open seven days a week with morning and evening classes, Hot Yoga Galway offers very affordable price options from pay as you go, to one month’s unlimited yoga. For further details phone Tracy on 087 2642922 or visit www.hotyoga.ie All levels are welcome from total beginners to athletes.
