Pop sensation LYRA returns to Galway with a highly anticipated performance in Salthill, on Thursday, November 7, as part of her Love LYRA tour.
This year has been a whirlwind for the County Cork singer-songwriter, with her self-titled debut album skyrocketing to the Number One spot in the Irish charts, outselling Beyoncé.
The album, which features the pop anthems ‘Chess’, ‘Drink Me Up’, and ‘You’, has already garnered over one million streams across digital platforms.
Since then, she has supported Cian Ducrot in St Anne’s Park, Dublin and headlined Cork’s Live At The Marquee.
Now fans in Galway can experience her electrifying performance up close, showcasing both her biggest hits and new tracks, including her latest single ‘Naked’. The track was co-written at David Guetta’s writing camp with Corey Sanders, resulting in a fun, vibrant song with the danceable rhythm that LYRA, also known as Laura McNamara, is known for.
LYRA’s fusion of anthemic pop rock, coupled with her extraordinary vocals and glamorous stage presence, has solidified her status as a rising star in the global music scene.
Tickets to LYRA at Leisureland on November 7, at 7pm, cost €30 from www.monroes.ie
