Arriving in showrooms later this year is the new MG ZS Hybrid+, which will be priced from €28,995 and offered in three trim levels, Essence, Excite and Exclusive. Available to order now, all models are backed by a seven-year/150,000km manufacturer’s warranty.
The Essence model, priced from €28,995, comes well-equipped with a 10.25-inch HD infotainment display with navigation, a seven-inch virtual driver display, rear parking sensors with a camera, automatic headlights, and heated mirrors.
The Excite model, priced from €31,495, adds 17-inch alloy wheels, with full LED lighting at the front and rear, a 12.3-inch HD infotainment display with navigation and live services, rain- sensing wipers, leather steering wheel and keyless entry.
Priced from €33,995, the range-topping Exclusive edition adds 18-inch ‘Sabre’ alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, leather-style upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, and a 360° surround-view camera.
MG Pilot, a suite of comprehensive safety and driver assistance technologies, is standard on all models. It includes adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and traffic jam assist.
The hybrid powertrain combines a 102PS 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 136PS/250Nm traction motor, resulting in a total output of 196PS. According to MG, this combination provides a refined driving experience with excellent performance, achieving 0-100 km/h in 8.7 seconds.
The 1.83kWh high-voltage battery is recharged by a high-efficiency 45kW generator, offering the potential for significant savings in running costs, with an improved fuel economy of 5.1 L/100km (WLTP Combined ) and low CO2 emissions of 113g/km.
