Bring autumnal tones into your home

The father of the Arts and Crafts movement, William Morris, famously stated: "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful." But he could have added: And make sure it is well-engineered and crafted with care.

Such are the elements required to make quality furniture and accessories with longevity, and all are principles that leading homeware designer Neptune holds dear. Its new AW24 collection sets a fresh way to decorate our homes - building schemes with heritage-inspired furniture redefined for modern lifestyles.

It introduces considered colour palettes with flashes of stronger shades, and layering rooms with intriguing, original and joyful accessories, developed with expert craftspeople around the world.

This collection is a story of autumnal indulgence, where furniture inspired by classic designs, and textured accessories meet the rich jewel-like tones of the season.

Leading the way in this seasonal collection, Neptune’s Farlow Collection introduces a dresser, cabinet and sideboard, all featuring a minimal aesthetic.

Each piece is glass-fronted to draw attention to its contents, designed with Neptune’s signature adjustable zig-zag shelving for versatility.

Celebrating the beauty of natural timber and crafted from solid oak with spindled profiles and intricate turned details, the Casey armchair takes inspiration from arts and crafts design principles.

The oak frame showcases different joinery techniques with exposed joints and is complemented with a generous seat and back cushion with different cover options, making for an indulgent wooden accent chair.

Continuing the aesthetic of refined design inspired by the past, Neptune introduces two new lighting ranges celebrating the beauty of carved wood. The Mason range takes inspiration from the silhouette of a chess piece, and comes in a honey or walnut stain, while the Dawes range features a bobbin design, carved with careful attention to detail, including a brass plate at the base.

Also new for this season is a range of decorative rugs that will bring pattern and colour into the home. Featuring subtle patterns and earthy colours, the collection also includes plain wool designs, ideal for bringing softness underfoot in a bedroom.

The rugs are complemented by textural cushions, which add subtle warmth, and cushions with a delicate stitched stripe, ideal for layering autumnal tones and warmth in the bedroom.

Neptune’s autumn and winter collection launches in stores and online on September 5. See Neptune.com for Irish stockists.
