Monivea Show — great day out for the family

A fantastic day out for all the family, the annual Monivea Show will take place on Sunday September 8.

Monivea Show expanded from Fair to Agricultural Show status in 2023, affiliated with the Irish Shows Association and hosted over 200+ entries in their Horse and Pony Showing classes in their first year.

New for 2024 is a horse and pony working hunter ring.

With footfall of over 4000+ visitors last year, coming from all ends of the country, they hope to increase interest in all aspects of agriculture in their local community.

Special features include an extensive kids funfair, agri aware mobile farm, live music, trade stands, dog show, bonnie baby competition, vintage, machinery displays, crafts, sheepdog demo, abbeyknockmoy set dancers, horse and pony showing classes, working hunter classes, novelty hobby horse competition, poultry sales, farrier demonstration, county Galway hunt ‘the blazers’ parade of hounds, hot food, refreshments, free facepainting, Galway County Library, and much more

Admission: €10 - Adults / Free Entry for Children U12

There is free parking and the first class commences: 9.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m.
