Dutch maestro André Rieu will return to the Eye Cinema for a series of late summer concerts filmed from Maastricht.
Performances will be shown on the big screen this Saturday, August 31 at 6pm, on Sunday, September 1 at 3pm, and also on Wednesday, September 4 at 11:30am and 6pm.
This year Rieu is ready to blow audiences away with his brand new cinema concert ‘Power of Love’. From his picturesque hometown of Maastricht, The King of the Waltz presents a must-see, big screen spectacular. Accompanied by his world famous Johann Strauss Orchestra and a cast of hundreds, this promises to be the music event of the summer by one of the world’s most prolific artists. The concert should overflow with passion showcasing a unique repertoire combining classical, musicals, pop and rock.
Set against the backdrop of the historic Vrijthof Square, André will amaze with iconic film scores, beautiful waltzes, tear-jerking ballads and unexpected chart hits.
