Team All Sorts - winners of this year's Little Cinema/ Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge 2024 with their film "Reality Check" filmed in Athenry. The film will be screened at Galway Film Fleadh 2025.

Last weekend the eighth annual Little Cinema/Galway City of Film 48 Hour Challenge had 10 teams each create a five-minute film within 48 hours.

Each team had a surprise prop to use; everything from ukuleles to a computer mouse and a headless bear fairy. The genre was Horror, the line they had to include was "that can't be real" and teams had to use a "whip-pan shot".

There was a full house with loads of laughter and banter on Sunday evening for the screening at the Town Hall Theatre. There were a range of categories, including 'best use of prop', 'audience award', and 'best film'.

The judges were Lelia Doolan, Linda Gannon, Dave Moran and Máire Ní Chonláin, and the winning film - Reality Check, by Team All Sorts - will be screened at Galway Film Fleadh in 2025.
