Galway Community Circus offers a wide range of classes tailored to all ages and abilities across Galway’s Westside, east side, and Tuam. Classes begin on September 23, 2024.
This autumn, the circus is introducing a five-week pilot programme of toddler and youth circus classes (ages one to 12 ) in Galway’s east side at Mervue Community Centre. On Galway’s Westside in Shantalla, the circus offers toddler, family, and youth circus classes (ages one to 24 ) from September through June, alongside adult aerial and acrobatics classes (ages 18+ ) and the gentle Golden Circus class for older adults.
In Tuam, Galway Community Circus offers a limited youth circus programme (ages five to 11 ). The youth classes foster confidence, teamwork, and creativity, helping young participants build resilience while exploring creative expression in a supportive environment. Adults can rediscover their sense of play, connect with like-minded people, and gain a unique skill set that blends fitness with artistic flair. For the tiniest circus enthusiasts, toddler classes enhance motor skills, nurture imagination, and offer quality bonding time with parents.
