After nine hugely successful years owning and running Esquires Coffee 11 Eyre Sq where they brought a new name in coffee, quality, service and hospitality from its infancy to a now thriving, profitable business, Caryl and Colm McDonagh have decided that the time is right to hand over the reins.
Consequently, they have recently sold the business to another existing Esquires Coffee franchisee and worked their last day in their shop on July 4 this year.
They told the Advertiser that they would like to say a huge and very sincere thank you to the many thousands of customers and friends for whom it was their great pleasure to serve over the past nine years in Esquires Coffee Eyre Sq.
“We would also wish to thank our wonderful staff without whose help and enthusiasm, the business would not have grown into the thriving business that it is today.
“Our great thanks also to our many suppliers, service and repair companies, and also to our landlords Michael and Rita Burke for their great kindness and assistance over the past while, and especially so during the very difficult COVID years.
“We are hugely grateful to everybody who is contributing to the great success that Esquires Coffee 11 Eyre Sq is today. The good news though is that the business will continue as Esquires Coffee Eyre Sq with the same wonderful team that it was our great pleasure to work with each and every day, but under new management.
They said that they will leave Eyre Sq with a huge sense of satisfaction for a job very well done.
“We thank most sincerely once again, each and every person who contributed in no small way in making Esquires Coffee Eyre Sq the thriving business that it is today. It has been a wonderful journey and the friendships that we have made along the way will last a lifetime. Thank you everybody, God bless and goodbye,” they concluded.
