Assault at ATM
Gardaí in Galway are investigating an assault which occurred outside an Ulster Bank ATM in Eyre Square, Galway on Wednesday July 17 shortly after midnight.
It is reported that an unknown male approached the injured party and struck him a number of times causing injury. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of the Ulster Bank ATM shortly after midnight on July 17 who may have witnessed this assault are asked to contact Gardaí in Gaillimh Garda Station on 091 538000 or 091 514720.
Man attacked by three on Abbeygate Street
Gardaí in Galway are investigating an assault that occurred outside the Sally Longs Pub on Abbeygate Street at approximately 3.40am on Sunday July 21.
The injured party in this case was approached by three unknown males who proceeded to assault him causing injury. Gardaí are looking for any witnesses to this incident who may be able to assist in this investigation to please contact Gardaí in Gaillimh Garda Station on 091 538000.
Woman assaulted near Oranmore
Gardaí in Oranmore are investigating an assault that occurred on Wednesday July 17 at 3.50pm where a female youth was struck to the side of her face by an unknown male as she was walking along An Inse Glas Coast Road Oranmore.
This male continued along on foot toward Oranmore Village. He is described as being 5 foot 10 inches in height with a black beard, wearing a black tracksuit with a zip in the front.
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses of this assault or any motorists with dashcam who may have been in the area at the time to please contact Gardaí in Oranmore Garda Station on 091 388030 or any Garda Station.
Burglary at Tuam Stadium
Sometime between 6pm on Tuesday July 16 and 12pm on July 17 a burglary occurred at Tuam Stadium, Liam Mellows St in Tuam.
A storage room was entered and a quantity of goods was taken to the value of €360.
Gardaí are asking for assistance from the public, if anyone was in the vicinity of the Tuam Stadium at the times stated and who may have observed suspicious activity, we are asking you to please contact Gardaí in Tuam Garda Station on 093 70840.
Trailer stolen in Kilconnell
Gardaí in Ballinasloe are investigating the theft of a trailer which occurred in the Killaghmore area of Kilconnell in Ballinasloe sometime between Tuesday July 16 and Friday July 19.
The trailer is described as 11Ft by 7 Ft Twin Wheels Grey Tractor Trailer (No Brand ). Suspicious behaviour at Clarinbridge church
Gardaí in Oranmore have received reports of a male acting in a suspicious manner in the Church in Clarinbridge.
It would appear that this male had been using some sort of stick/device to access monies from a coin box for donations. This male is described as 5ft 6, with brown wavy hair, wearing a black leather jacket, navy tracksuit bottom with white stripe on side, in his mid-30’s approx.
Gardaí are asking people to report any suspicious activity at donation or candle boxes in churches in your community.
