One of Ireland’s most recognisable names in the broadcast industry DJ Fergal D’Arcy returns to his roots with a dynamic set at Monroe’s Live this Saturday, July 20, beginning at 11pm.

The enigmatic D’Arcy was born in County Galway and, as one of the country’s leading radio DJs, this will be an ideal late-night event after Block Rockin’ Beats at the Big Top.

Throughout his career, D’Arcy has scooped many accolades, including being voted Ireland’s Number 1 Radio DJ by Hot Press magazine for three consecutive years.

Hailing from Ballinasloe, D’Arcy launched his career at Clare FM before making moving to iRadio and Today FM.

He is now on the national airwaves with 2FM, where he continues to share his passion for music and an innate ability to connect with listeners.

Beyond radio, he is also a talented performer in the theatre scene, appearing on stages both locally and nationally with Bravo Theatre Company, Twin Productions, and Loughrea Musical Society.

His charismatic on-stage persona and lively banter make his live performances a must-see. D’Arcy is known for rousing set lists, while also highlighting his personal love for avant-garde music.
