Have you got questions about a home energy upgrade, how to apply for SEAI Grants and how to start the process of making your home more energy efficient? Then why not go along to Envirobead’s Home Energy Upgrade Information Evening next Wednesday, June 26 in The Ardilaun Hotel at 8pm.

Envirobead is one of Ireland’s leading deep retrofit specialists, and it is bringing a panel of experts to Galway next week to answer all your questions about insulation, ventilation, solar panels, heat pumps, and much more.

If you register now at envirobead.com, you will also get a free Home Energy Assessment (HEA ) worth €850, courtesy of Envirobead which is currently rolling out its ‘One Stop Shop’ service across the country.

Fergal Cantwell of Envirobead explained; “The Home Energy Assessment is the first step, that will give you all the information required to show you what needs to be done to bring your home up to a B2 minimum rating.

“The biggest reason to get a Home Energy Upgrade is to future-proof your home for the next 25 to 30 years. You’ll have a more comfortable home and, hopefully, reduce your energy bills into the future as well.

“Envirobead are an SEAI-registered 'One Stop Shop' provider in the energy efficiency industry in Ireland. We have a very experienced team right across the country, and we provide nationwide coverage to complete your Home Energy upgrade.”

A panel of Home Energy Upgrade experts — including Stephen Farrell (SEAI, programme manager, National Retrofit Technical ), April McHale (retrofit manager, Daikin ), and Hugh Foley (RTS Heating and Cooling ) — will be in attendance at The Ardilaun Hotel to explain the various aspects of the ‘One Stop Shop’ initiative. The expert panel will also take part in a question and answer session.

Justine Barrett, from the SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland ), said; “If you’re looking at doing a deep retrofit, the ‘One Stop Shop’ is the only way to go for your Home Energy Upgrade. It’s so much simpler.

“The 'One Stop Shop' is going to organise the SEAI grants, they’re going to apply for them on your behalf, you only have to pay the net of the grants, they’ll co-ordinate all the contractors, and take all that hassle out for you. It will all be streamlined time-wise as well."
