Mervue’s Community Hub for Older People - known as The Bungalow - is launching its newly renovated facility next week from June 24 to 28.
People of all ages are welcome to drop by and enjoy a variety of free activities, meet the friendly team there, and sample some tea and cake. Those who come could even be in with a chance to win prizes.
Located between Mervue Church and Radharc na Mara primary school, The Bungalow offers a warm, welcoming space for older residents in the area.
They host regular health promoting and social activities including exercise and yoga classes, a coffee morning, a lunch club and many other opportunities to socialise and make new friends. Community groups can also rent the space for specific meetings or activities.

The Bungalow has shared its thanks to Pobal, Galway City Council, the Holy Family Parish, St Columba’s Credit Union, Medtronic and 'all who made the renovations possible'.
