Maree Oranmore Football Club will crown one lucky ticket holder the new owner of a brand-new, three bedroom, AA energy-rated home in Tobair Óráin, Oranmore, tomorrow, June 21. The live draw event takes place at the award-winning Galway Bay Golf Resort and will be live streamed online from 8pm on the Win a Home in Oranmore Facebook page.
A special thanks to Eveanna Ryan, Kieran O’Malley and the team at the Connacht Hospitality Group for facilitating the live draw event as the fundraiser’s official venue partner and sponsor. The €280,000 cash alternative is also up for grabs, along with some incredible runner-up prizes on the evening including premium Coldplay concert tickets and five-star hotel breaks.
Competition proceeds will fund local community sports facilities and national mental health charity
When you buy a ticket for only €100, you are not only securing a chance to win a home in Galway’s most expensive H91 Eircode, you are also supporting two very worthy causes. Fundraiser proceeds will go towards resourcing Maree Oranmore Football Club with the club’s primary aim being to develop their recently approved plan for all-weather, floodlit nine-a-side and five-a-side pitches. The club’s mission is to enable ‘Football For All’ resources and nurture a community where every child of any ability can play sports.
In addition, €5 from every ticket sold will be donated to the competition’s charity partner, A Lust For Life. A Lust For Life is a multi-award winning Irish mental health charity that uses schools programmes, campaigns and events to facilitate young people to be effective guardians of their own mind – and to be the leaders that drive our society towards a better future.
