Galway’s famous School of Rock returns on July 1, 2024.
This popular summer camp is now open to budding musicians aged 12 to 18 and gives them the opportunity to study with professional musicians for one week. Founded by the Access Music Project in 2004, School of Rock enters its 20th year under the direction of Aidan Curran and Galway City Music Partnership.
The School of Rock tutors are experienced and highly respected professional musicians who are dedicated to honing your music performance and ensemble skills in a creative and fun environment.
Students will form bands, participate in workshops on vocals, guitar, composition, rhythm and percussion. The School of Rock runs from 1pm to 5pm Monday to Friday with a concert on the Friday afternoon which will be open to friends and family. The fee of €250 covers all tuition, music performance, and a daily snack.
To book a place, or for more information on the camp, you can contact Aidan on 087-754 2460 or through [email protected].
