Campion Insurance have presented a cheque for €12,656.30 to Galway Hospice, proceeds from Coffee Mornings in memory of their esteemed colleague Nora Moran.

The Coffee Mornings were a tribute to Nora, who worked with the company for over 20 years and passed away in December 2023.

Nora’s colleagues at Campion Insurance’s branch on Merchants Road decided to fundraise for Galway Hospice as a way to give back. A fantastic effort was made by staff and customers. Donations were matched by the PIB Trust to increase the overall funds raised to €12,656.30.

“We are beyond grateful to Campion Insurance for the wonderful event held in memory of their colleague Nora. The amount raised is a testament to her impact on the company as both a friend and employee, and we would like to thank all at Campion Insurance for supporting us through their Coffee Mornings,” said Mary Nash, CEO of Galway Hospice.
