Smash the Nineties at Monroe’s this weekend

Dublin-based six-piece Smash Hits will pay tribute to the golden era of '90s dance, pop, and R’n’B at Monroe’s Live this Saturday, June 15, at 9pm.

Performing classic tracks from artists like Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, House of Pain, Take That, Spice Girls, Prodigy, and Snap, they will take you back to the feel-good days of old-school nightclub DJs and all-night raves.

Since 2009, Smash Hits have shared stages with renowned acts such as 50 Cent, MGMT, 5ive, S-Club, Faithless, Wheatus, Orbital, The Saturdays, The Coronas, and 2Unlimited.

Dressed in '90s outfits and delivering energetic performances filled with chart-topping hits, Smash Hits have become a staple at Ireland's most popular festivals.

They frequently sell out shows at prestigious venues across the country, capturing the essence of ‘90s pop culture.

Together, this captivating tribute pop band relive the magic of this bygone music age when MTV ruled, scrunchies were a fashion statement, and everyone was trying to master the Macarena.

Whether you have nostalgic memories of the era, or are discovering these classic tracks for the first time, this event promises a fun night out as they evoke the spirit of old-style boy bands and girl groups.

Following the main performance, the night continues with a live DJ set until 2:30am, making Monroe’s Live an ultimate party destination this Saturday.
