Get your REM fix at Róisín Dubh

REM, one of the world’s most enigmatic bands, may not have toured since 2008, but if you need a fix of ‘The One I Love’, then the Róisín Dubh has you covered.

Stipe, named for the REM lead singer Michael Stipe, will play the Galway rock venue on Friday, June 28, with doors at 8pm.

Stipe bring you all the top songs from REM including ‘Losing My Religion’, and ‘Man on the Moon’ with all the atmosphere, attitude, emotion, and energy one expects from the real deal. Stipe will provide the same cagey mix of attitude, poetry and idiosyncratic sound built around jangling guitars and hazy vocals of frontman Michael Stipe.

Whether it’s playing major festivals or appearing on the One Show, and even performing for Michael Stipe himself, Stipe are the definitive REM tribute, a complete band, with encyclopaedic knowledge of the back catalogue. They bring REM to life on stage, including the contrasts, the magic, and that direct connection to the music.

The legacy of the bots from Athens, Georgia, is in good hands.
