One young man lost his life and another was injured in a crash close to Knockdoe at the weekend.
Seamus Costello (21 ) of Mulacutra, Claregalway, died when the car he was driving hit a wall at Carraghy, Corrandulla, just off the N17 at around 11.30pm on Sunday. His passenger, a man in his twenties, was injured in the collision and both were brought to UHG after the accident.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
