The Galway Film Fleadh is proud to host an exclusive screening event of Netflix and Shondaland’s acclaimed series ‘Bridgerton’.
This special event includes a sneak peek at the eagerly awaited second part of the third season, with esteemed stars Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton in attendance.
Fans will have the chance to celebrate Nicola Coughlan’s international success and welcome her back to her hometown of Galway. From Shondaland and new showrunner Jess Brownell, ‘Bridgerton’ returns for its third season.
Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan ) has given up on her crush on Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton ) after hearing his harsh words last season. Now, she seeks a husband who will let her maintain her double life as Lady Whistledown.
However, her lack of confidence leads to failed attempts in the marriage market. Colin returns with a new look and swagger, only to find Penelope distant. To win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor her in confidence, but soon questions if his feelings are purely platonic. Meanwhile, Penelope’s rift with Eloise (Claudia Jessie ) and her growing social presence threaten to expose her secret identity.
The special screening will take place on Friday, June 7, at 19:30 at Pálás Cinema, and tickets are FREE.
