Brasserie on the Corner's triumph at the highly esteemed National Yes Chef Awards, where it secured three prestigious awards, including the coveted Restaurant of the Year Award, is a testament to its continued dedication to culinary excellence.
Brasserie on the Corner received the top award as well as being named the National Winner of Casual Dining of the Year and Nationally Highly Commended for Seafood Restaurant of the Year.
Chefs and industry professionals from all over Ireland gathered at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk on Tuesday, May 14th, for the esteemed National Yes Chef Awards. The event celebrated and acknowledged Ireland's culinary excellence, with Brasserie on the Corner taking home the top award.
Nicci Smith, Programme Director and judge of the YesChef Awards described the restaurant as “One of the best meal experiences [they] have had! Literally, from the second [they] stepped into Brasserie until leaving! Exceptional at every level and stage.”
Brasserie on the Corner is a multi-award-winning seafood and steak restaurant renowned for its flavour-filled dishes, which use the best local and seasonal produce.
Head Chef Joe Flaherty’s freedom of culinary expression and his priority on in-house methods and fresh ingredients make them a cut above the rest in Galway’s already elite and vibrant food scene.

The new tremendous awards will add to the collection of achievements, including a Gold Award in the impressive “Bar Food of the Year” category for their adjoining Blakes Bar at the last August 2023 Bar of the Year Awards.
