Constipation is actually the failure of the digestive system to expel faeces (food waste our body doesn’t assimilate during digestion ), and sometimes too this can become coated along the intestinal tract and clog us up.

Without cleanliness and tone in the entire alimentary tract, including the intestines, even the best organic and regenerative-type foods may end up as waste and toxic ferment instead of readily assimilable by the bloodstream.

Unhealthy foods and an unhealthy living space can cause constipation and related problems. But there are other causes, these include:

· Insufficient exercise

· Poor posture

· Certain foods

· Hasty eating

· Too much meat in the diet

· Insufficient fluid

· Colon Disease

But, don’t worry. There are remedies and aids to proper digestion of our food.

Eating and chewing your food slowly is so important because, as we know, the digestive system starts in the mouth. Without saliva mixed thoroughly with the food, the material goes down to the stomach and does not aid the gastric juices as intended.

In the mouth with the teeth used as grinders the raw organic foodstuffs are mixed with the alkaline juices of saliva that are so necessary for preparing the starches for use by the body. Other possible remedies are;

· Laxative type solutions

· Fruits and raw vegetables

· Fibre

· Proper exercise

· Proper posture

And - Herbal aids: this is where I can help.

As a medical herbalist in practice for almost thirty years, I recommend using a herbal remedy called 'Clean Sweep Formula'.

This contains antibacterial properties and has the necessary ingredients to help you deal with a blocked digestive system.

If you want to purchase Clean Sweep Formula or if this article has struck a chord with you, and you want to find out more or book a consultation, then I’m Patrick Murphy, Medical Herbalist, 085 881 0692 [email protected]

I must point out I am a medical herbalist not a medical practitioner, and make no definitive curative claims for my recommended remedies.
