Is your home missing an original painting of a local scene? Wait no longer! Art enthusiasts will be gathering on Kinvara Quay on Sunday, June 2 at 6pm for an unique opportunity to buy amazing hot-off-the-easel original paintings.

If your home does not already have a painting of a landscape or seascape from Kinvara, the Burren and its environs, don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to buy art at affordable prices, while supporting two worthy causes. You will be the first viewers of this artwork, some still wet and others framed and ready to hang.

The artwork has been kindly donated by tutors and participants in the Kinvara Plein Air 24 Festival and other local artists. The KPA festival is now in its third year in this beautiful seaside village on the Wild Atlantic Way.

You can view art for auction on Saturday and Sunday in the KPA Hub at Tigh Sayre in Kinvara village and on Sunday from 5pm-6pm at the Horsebox Gallery on Kinvara Quay. Advance bids can be made in the KPA Hub over the weekend, for those who can’t be present at the auction on Sunday at 6pm.

All proceeds of the auction will be shared between; Médecins Sans Frontières, Ireland, an international charity that provides medical teams that act fast to save people’s lives in conflict zones, natural disasters, and epidemics https://www.msf.ie/; and Kinvara Alive, a local charity that raises awareness about well-being and mental health in our community www.kinvaraalive.com

Welcoming over 120 artists from Ireland and abroad for a weekend of painting outdoors over the June bank holiday.
