Connemara Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Galway County Council, SEAI and Local Enterprise Office (LEO ) are hosting an information evening in the Station House Hotel, Clifden on Monday, April 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Local Fine Gael Councillor Eileen Mannion is urging people to attend what will be a very informative event on what grants and supports are available for homes and businesses from Galway County Council, SEAI and LEO.
This Information Event will have something for everyone from information on the Vacant Home Grants to what Local Authority Loans are available to help purchase a home.
There will be information from SEAI on Home Energy Grants to make your home warmer and more energy efficient.
A presentation on the new Galway County Council online pre-plannng enquiry system which allows members of the public generate a report for a proposed site within the county, which will assist with new planning applications. There will be a presentation on how to set up pre-planning meetings.
There will also be information on what grants are available to businesses from the Local Enterprise Office (LEO ).
The evening will start at 7p.m. with an introduction from Connemara Chamber of Commerce and presentation from the Local Enterprise Office and Pre-Planning Engagement.
The second part of the evening will be a presentation from SEAI Home Energy Grants, A Deep Retrofit Case Study with Tina Ryan, Climate Action Co-Ordinator with GCC and then a presentation on the Vacant Home and Local Authority Home Loans.
