The Interceltic Business Forum will take place in Galway on Friday, April 19, in Portershed. Business leaders from the Celtic regions of Brittany, Wales and Scotland are set to join forces with their Irish counterparts this weekend.

The event brings together speakers, Government agencies and a range of companies from the Celtic regions, the upcoming Galway event is promised to be ‘even richer in networking opportunities, knowledge sharing and exploration of new economic horizons’.
Mayor of Galway, Cllr Eddie Hoare will be in attendance at the forum as he welcomes attendees at 9.30am.
At 11.30am, there will be a discussion on ‘Successfully Scaling your Business in the West of Ireland’ delivered by Olive McLucas, WDC Investment Fund, Fergal O’Connor, CEO of Buymedia, and Andrew Cameron, CEO of Feeltecht.
The one-day event will also host keynote addresses from business leaders, such as ‘Remote work and relocation: Evidence from Ireland’ by Deirdre Frost, Policy Analyst/Digiwest Project Manager at the Western Development Commission which takes place at 1.45pm.
Other key topics include ‘Scotland and Ireland working together to build the rural economy’ (12pm ), ‘Remote working and relocation: opportunities and challenges’ (1.45pm ), and ‘How you launch a startup and go global on a tiny budget’ (5.15pm ).
