Congratulations to first year student Oisin Flynn and his younger brother Tom Og for winning a bursary to exhibit their computer coding project Autistically Awesome at this year's Coolest Projects at DCU.
Autistically Awesome is an award winning five minute coded animation created over a number of years of attending the fantastic CoderDojo programme at University of Galway. The project is a thought provoking conversation around autism awareness and acceptance.
Well done to Merlin College students Julia, Blessing, Aalba, Kylie, and Believe who facilitated a workshop in the University of Galway on an educational resource called Tight Spaces. These students were involved in creating this resource with the Ard Centre. Merlin College is very proud of these students who are showing leadership in education skills at a young age.
