Taking in the regional sights of Alberobello, Matera, Lecce and Polignano, 'A Taste of Puglia' is one of Fahy Travel's more popular tours for the coming season.

Described as a 'food lovers dream', the holiday offers a feast for the senses with the very best of sites, tastes and experiences that Puglia has to offer.

Offering the chance to visit Ostuni, the 'White City of Puglia', followed by a visit to a local farmhouse and olive oil mill, 'A Taste of Puglia' shows how the locals live off the land.

These visits are followed by a trip to Alberobello, an area famous for its UNESCO protected ‘Trulli homes’, which are white round buildings with archetypal conical roofs.

This tour also includes Matera, an area famous for its layers of houses and for being the third longest continuously inhabited human settlement in the world. A location used in Biblical TV and Film scenes, most notable being the 2004 film, The Passion of the Christ, Matera's layered houses transports you back in time.

All of this and much more while you stay at the 4* Hotel Relais Porta del Sud, with its rustic Apulian farmhouse Aesthetic. This hotel offers all the modern comforts, including swimming pool and evening entertainment.
