A male was badly assaulted and the suspect left the area.

Home ransacked in Glenamaddy
Gardaí in Glenamaddy are investigating a burglary that occurred at Cashel Cross, Glenamaddy between March 6 and March 10.
The homeowner returned to their home and discovered the back door had been smashed and entry was gained to the house and the rooms were ransacked.

Jewellery stolen in Patch
Gardaí in Glenamaddy are investigating a burglary that occurred in the Patch area of Glenamaddy over the weekend.
The homeowner returned to find their back door was smashed and entry was gained to the property. Each room was ransacked and jewellery was stolen.

Criminal damage and assault in Merlin Park Hospital
Gardaí in Galway are investigating a serious incident that occurred on the Merlin Park Hospital grounds on Thursday, March 7 at 8:45am.
A driver of a car came to a stop and a pedal cyclist came up to the car and kicked the driver’s wing mirror off. This male on the pedal cycle proceeded to assault the driver of the car. The suspect then left the area on his bike.

Volkswagen damaged in Mervue
Gardaí in Galway are investigating a criminal damage incident that occurred at St James Crescent, Mervue, on Saturday, March 9 at 10:40pm.
The car involved was a grey Volkswagen Passat and the windscreen was damaged by a male.

Bicycle thrown through front window of home in Roscam
Gardaí are investigating a criminal damage incident which occurred on Monday, March 4 at 10:25pm at the Boireann Bheag estate in Roscam.
Gardaí are asking for the public’s assistance with this investigation in the hopes of identifying two males who are believed to have been dropped off in the estate by a dark coloured SUV taxi. It is reported that the males picked up a child’s bicycle outside a house in the estate and proceeded to throw the bicycle through the front window of the home.
Gardaí are asking for any taxi driver who may have dropped off and collected at the Boireann Bheag estate on the night of March 4 to contact Gardaí and assist with their enquiries. Diesel stolen from truck in Kinvara
Gardaí in Kinvara are investigating a theft that occurred at Dungory West, Kinvara between March 6 and March 7.
The owner of a work vehicle, a Hino truck, had left their vehicle parked overnight and returning the next morning discovered the vehicles diesel tanks were emptied. A substantial amount of diesel was stolen.
