This Bank Holiday weekend, there's lot to celebrate at the EYE Cinema in Wellpark.

First of all, to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge 2024, there will be a showing of the family animation ‘Puffin Rock agus Cairde Nua’ (G ) and the award-winning ‘An Cailín Ciúin’ (12A ) both playing as Gaeilge with English subtitles from Friday, March 15.

Then, March 17 is always a big day at the EYE Cinema: not only is it St. Patrick’s Day, but is also the EYE Cinema’s 19th Birthday. To celebrate in style they are offering to their loyal customers €8 cinema tickets all day (€7 before 12 noon ) and a yummy 15 per cent discount on popcorn and cinema snacks (T&Cs apply ) too!

Some of the new releases that are now screening in the EYE Cinema include; Dune: Part Two; Wicked Little Letters; Bob Marley: One Love; Migration; Madame Web; and The Iron Claw.

If you missed them during their original release the EYE are screening movies that were recently praised at the Oscars. The Oscar nominated and winning movies being shown over the week include; The Holdovers; The Zone of Interest; Anatomy of a Fall; Past Lives; Poor Things; and Oppenheimer.
