House ransacked in Glebe

Between 11am on Saturday, March 2 and 5:30pm on Sunday, March 3 a house in Teamair, Glebe, Co. Galway was broken into. Entry was gained by forcing the rear door of the house. The house was subsequently ransacked.

Gardaí are appealing for any member of the public who may have witnessed any persons acting suspiciously in the area to contact Loughgeorge Garda Station on 091-798 122.

Attempted burglary in Doughiska

On Sunday, March 3 at approximately 1:50am two males were disturbed while attempting to gain entry to a house in Tur Uisce, Doughiska.

PlayStation stolen from home in Athenry

On Wednesday, February 28 between 9am and 4pm a house at Willow Lane in Derrydonnell More in Athenry was broken into. During the course of the break in a PlayStation was stolen.

Home broken into in Claregalway

On Wednesday, February 28 between 10am and 12 noon a house was broken into in Cahergowan, Claregalway.

Power washer stolen in Loughgeorge

Between 4:30pm on Monday, February 26 and 9am on Tuesday, February 27 there was a break in at Loughgeorge water treatment plant. During the course of this break in a Honda power washer was stolen.

Volkswagen Polo damaged on the Headford Road

Between 7:30pm on Friday, March 1 and 1:50pm on Saturday, March 2 a 12G white Volkswagen Polo was damaged while parked outside a house in Baile An Choiste on the Headford Road.

Front door window smashed in Tuam

Between 8pm on Friday, March 1 and 10am on Saturday, March 2 the window in the front door of a house was smashed in the Dublin Road Estate, Tuam.

Graffiti damage at The Docks

On Thursday, February 29 at 11:30am damage was caused to the walls of Dun Aengus, New Docks in the city by means of graffiti. Green graffiti was sprayed on the walls of the building.

Theft from a Ford truck in Oranmore

Between 6pm on Tuesday, February 27 and 10am on Wednesday, February 28 a 96D black Ford truck was broken into in Bushfield, Oranmore. During this break in a Honda Eu70 generator was stolen.
