Galway music fans devastated by this week’s break-up of Irish band Hudson Taylor may find solace in plans that one half of the fraternal duo, Harry Hudson-Taylor, will play the Róisín Dubh tomorrow, Friday, March 1, at 8pm.
Berlin-based singer-songwriter Harry has played for twelve years with his brother, Alfie. His solo project is titled Lady Bird Lad, with debut single ‘I’m Losing You’ out now.
From touring with Hozier to selling out large Irish venues, Hudson Taylor were a mainstay of the Irish music scene in the 2010s.
The brothers announced the dissolution of their band on a statement posted on Instagram. Harry said he is continuing to make music, while Alfie is concentrating on his HowToBreakAnArtist podcast on the music industry.
