Discover the potential of your child, help them develop study skills and endow them with a lifelong love of learning through Kumon.

The Kumon maths and English programmes are individualised to each student and thus are suitable for all ages and abilities. Children who have been struggling with school material can resolve their difficulties through Kumon study, while those who are not challenged in school get the opportunity to move far ahead. Many families who enrol one child with Kumon see such benefits that they go on to enrol all their siblings. Kumon Galway City West is proud to have entire families of students who have completed one or both programmes to university entry level.

A free initial assessment determines the 'just right' start point for the student. From there each student follows a personal study plan designed to match their current capacity and develop new abilities through supported self-learning. The programme can be studied using traditional paper worksheets or on a tablet. Students commit to approximately 20 minutes of daily study for one subject. Students who are working six months ahead of their age earn bronze medals, those working two years ahead of their age earn silver medals, and gold medals are awarded to students studying three or more years ahead of their age.

If you would like to explore Kumon study for your child, book a free assessment and one week free trial online at Kumon.ie/galway-city-west or call Denise Heneghan, instructor on 086 8285780.
