Gardaí in Salthill are investigating a burglary that occurred between 6am and 6pm on Sunday, February 18 where a house in Kingston was broken into. Entry was gained by smashing a rear window in the property.

Honda power washer stolen in Portumna

On Tuesday, February 13 between 5.30pm and 8.30pm a shed at a property on St. Brendan’s Road in Portumna was broken into and a Honda power washer was stolen.

Business broken into in Portumna

On Tuesday, February 13 at approximately 6.45pm, a business premises on Patrick Street in Portumna was broken into by means of forcing the front door. The suspects in this incident left the scene in a black Audi in the direction of Clonfert Avenue junction.

House ransacked in Killimor

On Tuesday, February 13 between 3pm and 6.30pm a house was broken into in Garryard, Killimor Co. Galway. During this break-in the house was ransacked.

Break in of home in Loughrea

On Tuesday, February 13 a house in Droim Na Cille in Loughrea was broken into at approximately 5.40pm. Two males were disturbed inside the house and fled the scene in a 07D black Audi.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who noticed any persons or vehicle acting suspiciously in the area to come forward. If anyone in the area has CCTV or anyone passed this vehicle and has dash cam footage, we would ask that they make it available to investigating Gardaí.

Train carriages damaged with graffiti in Ceannt Station

Between February 12 and 13 a number of carriages of the train were damaged with graffiti in Ceannt Station.

Caravan damaged in Connemara

On Saturday, February 17 a caravan parked at Ardmore, Cill Chiarain in Connemara was damaged after stones were thrown at it.

Skoda damaged while parked in Oranmore

On Sunday, February 18 at approximately 2am a 09D black Skoda was damaged while parked on Main Street in Oranmore. A group of males were passing the vehicle and one of the males kicked the vehicle in question.

Front window of a home shattered in Oranmore

Gardaí in Oranmore are investigating a criminal damage incident on a house that occurred in the Boireann Beag estate on Monday, February 19 at 8.50p.m. The home owner heard a loud noise and discovered their front window had been shattered.
