Coláiste Íde is an all-Irish seven-day boarding school for girls situated in the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. The majority of the students enrolled at Coláiste Íde attended English-medium primary schools.

Transition year students who wish to spend a year improving their grasp of the Irish language prior to embarking on the Leaving Certificate are also welcome in Coláiste Íde. The hugely popular fifth years' transition programme offers students an opportunity to sample the Leaving Certificate course through Irish while availing of an after-school transition year programme which includes workshops in areas like multimedia, coding, Chinese, driving and road safety, President’s Gaisce Awards, law course, HACCP and first aid. Other recreational activities are also available to all students.
