Gardaí in Barnaderg are investigating a burglary that occurred at a house in the Dangan area of Tuam, on Saturday, January 27 between 10am and 8:55pm.

The owner of the property returned home to discover a sizeable amount of jewellery had been taken from the premises.

Amongst the items taken were, gold necklaces, gold chains, gold Bracelets, and gold rings.

Aggravated burglary in Ballinasloe

Gardaí in Ballinasloe are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred at a house in the Newtown, area of Caltra, Ballinasloe, on Saturday, January 27 between 8pm and 8:15pm.

A person residing at that address disturbed two males who had broken into the property.

Both males were described as being very tall and both were wearing “North Face” jackets and “North Face” gloves.

Burglary of a house in Dunmore

Gardaí in Glenamaddy are investigating a burglary that occurred at a house in the Meenleana area of Dunmore between 6pm on Wednesday, January 24 and 11:30am on Saturday, January 27.

When the owner of the property returned home, they discovered that a number of items of jewellery had been taken from the premises. Amongst the items taken were a gold watch, silver watch and rings.

Gardaí in Glenamaddy are investigating another burglary that occurred at a house in the Meenleana area of Dunmore, between 10pm on Friday, January 26 and 9:45am on Saturday, January 27.

The owner of the property returned home to discover a number of items of jewellery and a chequebook had been taken from the premises.

Car windows smashed in Ballinasloe

Gardaí in Ballinasloe are investigating a criminal damage incident that occurred in the Canal Drive area on the morning of Monday, January 29 at 2:45am where the front window and the rear driver’s side window of a car were smashed.
