Australian folk artist Ernest Aines and Irish sensation Lorraine Nash unite for a mesmerising double-headliner event at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, February 3, at 7:30pm.

A nominee for the prestigious Australian Folk Artist of the Year Award in 2023, Aines aims to captivate with his soulful voice, masterful guitar skills, and rhythmic stomp box.

Drawing comparisons to the likes of Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, and Nick Drake, the singer songwriter has garnered praise from industry legends such as Grammy lifetime achievement winner, Tom Paxton.

He will be joined on the night by rising star Lorraine Nash who brings a unique blend of trad, folk, and blues to the stage with a distinctive lilt. She performs hauntingly beautiful songs inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and Carole King. The Co Kerry native will embark on a tour of Australia in March this year.

Speaking in advance of his Irish tour, Aines said: “I have always wanted to visit Ireland and be able to perform these double bill shows, with the seriously talented Lorraine. It will be amazing.”

This is a fully seated show in the intimate surrounds of the backstage venue at Monroe’s Live at 7:30pm on Saturday, February 3.
