Learn about University of Galway's MBA programme at virtual open evening

University of Galway’s Association of MBAs and AACSB-accredited MBA programme will host a virtual open evening on Thursday, January 18 at 6pm. The virtual open evening is a great opportunity to learn more about this part-time, flexible programme, providing an opportunity to meet MBA faculty, students, and graduates.

Anne Wagner, food security expert at the European Commission and recent MBA graduate, shares what she values most from her MBA journey: “Following 15 years of an intense career, I was looking to make the most of the second part of my journey. Eight weeks before the start of the MBA, my resilience was already tested when the whole family decided to move to Milan (my husband got a new job ). I desire human connections and following a first year online, I was delighted to experience the 'on-campus' life for the second year, leaving everything (and everyone! ) behind to focus on the MBA.

"Having done four months of my new role at the European Commission, I have the powerful feeling that nothing can stop me! Thanks to the programme, I know better who I am, how to make the most of my strengths, and how to embrace my vulnerabilities. In this new chapter, I allow myself to be authentic and trust my emotional intelligence, which is a game changer to me. The 'can do' attitude and constant support of my classmates are gems I will treasure forever. They enabled me to be the best version of myself. Embarking on an MBA was the right decision for me, for better only.”

An MBA is the one of the most prestigious business degrees globally, and the AMBA accredited University of Galway MBA is one of the leading programmes in the country.
