THE CANTUS Novus Singers from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will perform two shows in Galway this Sunday.
The choir, under the direction of W Edward McCall, will participate in the 11am Mass at the Galway Cathedral and present a concert at St Patrick’s Church, Forster Street, at 8.30pm.
The concert will last an hour and the programme will include works from the Italian renaissance and Irish and American hymns and spirituals. Admission is free with a suggested donation of one non-perishable canned good or €1 to support local food banks.
