Award-winning duo directors Brian and Seán Power, choreographer Declan J Gardiner and musical director John O’Dea have prepared a huge cast, including a full chorus, with Tweens and Smurfs to add music and dance to the story.
When the Wicked Witch Bogzilla (Elizabeth Flaherty ) is rejected by King Barney (Michael Cooney ), she transforms him into an ogre and wreaks havoc on his beloved kingdom.
However, with enough trickery and charm from Tiger Tom, an amazingly talkative cat (Declan J. Gardiner ) and the good services of the kind Fairy Cakes (Catherine Ryan ), they help King Barney’s loyal steed Wonky Donkey (Cian O Ceallaigh ) and his wizard Humpty Dumpty (David Booth ), to undertake their fight for justice to restore harmony to their haven and save their King.
Performance dates for 7:30pm shows are Dec 29, Dec 30, Jan 1 to Jan 6, and Jan 10 to Jan 13.
The 2.30pm shows are Dec 30, Jan 1, Jan 6 and Han 13.
The 12pm Sunday shows are on Dec 31, Jan 7, and Jan 14.
The 4.30pm Sunday shows are Dec 32, Jan 7, and Jan 14.
