The Björn Identity will take a chance to imitate pop icons ABBA at Monroe’s Live tomorrow, December 15, at 9pm to recreate the sound, style, and energy of the Swedish sensation.
This ensemble is dedicated to capturing the essence and magic of the legendary 1970s pop group with meticulous attention to detail, and even recreate the flamboyant costumes that pay homage to the original group's fashion-forward style.
Founded by Karen Rush and Richard Doubleday, with the addition of the talented Sophie Grier and Ryan Greer, the imitators have performed sell-out shows at prestigious venues across Ireland, Britain, Germany and Austria.
Complete with the choreography that is uniquely ABBA, The Björn Identity tinkles a replica of Benny’s famous white piano, giving a whole new level of authenticity.
This ‘ABBA in Concert’ experience features massive hits including ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Thank You For the Music’ and ‘Knowing Me Knowing You’.
