Baboró has been named “Business of the Year” at the Galway Chamber Business Awards 2023, in association with The Shannon Airport Group. They were recognised for their work with ”the little people“ of Galway and the West if Ireland and in inspiring future generations on the importance of art, culture and creativity.
A crowd of just over 300 people were present for the event which saw 10 awards handed out on the night. As well as the “Business of the Year” Award, Baboró was also recognised in the ”Culture and Creativity Award.”

Best Scale-up/ Growing Business, sponsored by Platform94 and WestBIC went to Grá Chocolates.
Excellence in Innovation, sponsored by EY was awarded to University of Galway IdeasLab.
Best Small to Medium Enterprise, sponsored by AIB, went to HAS Integration.
Best Customer Service in an SME, sponsored by PTSB, was presented to Lally Tours.
The Marketing Excellence Award, sponsored by Galway City Council, was picked up by Galway Races.
The Award for Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion, sponsored by Galway City Council, went to Connect4Work.
The Culture and Creativity Award, sponsored by Galway Culture Company, was presented to Baboró International Arts Festival for Children.
The Award for Sustainability Initiative, sponsored by Shannon Airport, went to ATU Innovation Hubs.
The President’s Award, sponsored by PwC, was presented to JP MacMahon, owner and culinary director of Anair Restaurant and Cava Bodega.
The Business of the Year, sponsored by The Shannon Airport Group, went to Baboró International Arts Festival for Children.
