The Eglinton snooker and pool monthly flyers are proving very popular with members. The October tournament in both events were very exciting with some great play by all players involved.The snooker final was contested by Dan Kineen and Oisin Duggan with Dan comimg out on top by a score of 4 frames to 2.
The 8 ball pool event was contested by Mark Walsh and Kialynn Fitzpatrick with Mark victorious by a score of 6 frames to 4 in a very tight final.
Their medals and cash prizes were presented by Heather Mc Gowan and John Kelly.The November events are coming to a close next week with the December event for pool filled with 32 entries. The St. Josephs college snooker cup will be played in December. They are still taking entries. for this and for the Eglinton cup to find the club champion. This is open to all club members.
