Country Music Star Claudia Buckley at Monroe’s Live

Claudia Buckley

Claudia Buckley

Claudia Buckley's meteoric rise in the country music scene is nothing short of remarkable. Her talent and charisma make her a true standout in the industry.

Now the award-winning singer-songwriter from Athenry will take to the stage at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, 4 November, at 8pm.

Claudia’s vocal range has ensured a string of number one hits in the country charts including ‘Diane’, ‘Country is as country does’ and her breakthrough single ‘Drinking with Dolly’.

The Co Galway star, who is the daughter of country legend Jimmy Buckley, was heavily influenced by icons such as George Jones, Shania Twain and Dolly Parton throughout her youth.

One of the defining moments of her formidable career was her tribute to her childhood hero, Dolly Parton, on The Late Late Show in 2020 alongside Una Healy and Cliona Hagan.

She credits support and mentorship from fellow artists like Nathan Carter and Daniel O'Donnell as instrumental in her journey, as she follows in her father’s footsteps. However it was Claudia’s collaboration with Philomena Begley for a special episode of Opry Le Daniel that confirmed her status as an emerging country music icon.

Claudia plays Monroe’s Live this Saturday, supported by pop-rock act Colohan. James Colohan crosses the genres of rock, pop and country to create touching ballads and upbeat melodies
